Class Performance Schedule

Our first week back at school after the holidays was a hectic one, but we made it through! There is a lot happening this week.

First, the ACT Aspire testing is in progress for all 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th
grade students. Please remember to have students to school on time because testing cannot be interrupted once it has begun. Also, try to make sure that students are well rested and have a good breakfast.

Congratulations to our April Students of the Month!

The CTK Fair begins this week!!!! Thanks to all who have signed up to work the Fair. The link is:

Congratulations to 7T – all spots have been filled by parents for the Dunking Booth during the Fair. Room Captains will be contacting parents in remaining homerooms who have not signed up to volunteer, so please help by going online NOW and signing up.

Let’s try to get all students to wear the Fair t-shirts this Friday.

Also, keep selling those Fair raffle tickets!

The Lagniappe Pulls are continuing on the Fridays before the Fair. The winner of the public drawing for $250 held on Friday, April 13, 2018, was Robert Greer. The next student drawing will be Thursday, April 19, 2018, and the final public drawing will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018. Good luck to all!

Attached is the Class Performance Schedule for this weekend. Remember that individual class items will be auctioned off immediately after each class performance. Students get so excited when the bidding gets going, so be there to support them. Here are a couple of items:

There will also be lots of teacher/class items in the Silent Auction, as well as lots of “goodies” that you don’t want to miss.

2G students continue the Lexia program, working hard in the computer lab.

Just a couple of important reminders:

– Birthday treats may be sent, but may not include balloons, drinks, treat bags, ice cream, or any decorations. The treat must be an individually wrapped item or a pre-cut item. Please notify the child’s homeroom teacher in advance. Treats will be distributed only in the classroom setting by the teacher. Guests and/or “parties” are not allowed.
– While we welcome volunteers and parents to our campus, it is important to remember that clothing which is too short, tight-fitting, or low-cut, etc. is not appropriate attire. Please make sure you dress in a suitable manner when coming to the school.
