Chatter for the Week of April 24 Link
WOW!! What a great weekend – the weather cooperated, the crowd was in good spirits, and the food, drink, and community spirit all contributed to make this year’s Fair a huge success. There are too many people to thank individually in the Chatter, so let me say THANK YOU to all of you who worked tirelessly on the Fair – parents, teachers/staff, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends – we could not have done it without you.
There are three people who I have to give a special shout out to – Paul Marchiafava, Jessica McNeil, and Rob Mistretta. These three chaired the Fair and did an incredible job!
The class performances were wonderful and brought smiles to everyone watching. Teachers and students deserve big congratulations for all the hard work put into making these performances so special.
The winner of the $2,000 Raffle was Jacinta Bacot. Thanks for purchasing raffle tickets and have fun spending your winnings.
Check out Facebook later today and tomorrow for more pictures.
IMPORTANT: Everyone is asked to stay off of the stage unless performing. Our students know that they are not allowed on the stage to play around while in school and this policy should be followed even when not in school.
Recently, we had to once again have sound equipment repaired. This is expensive and we ask you to please respect this policy. Speaking of the stage –
THE NIFTY FIFTIES
It’s almost that time again – the 7th grade play is coming up soon and we want you all to be a part of the excitement! Students will be allowed to dress in their best 50’s attire for $1 on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. We can’t wait to see everybody looking like a “blast from the past.” The money collected
goes into the fund for costumes and stage items for the 7th grade.
School performances for students will be held during the day and a night performance for everybody else will be held at 6:30 p.m. ($2 admission), so please come out and support the 7th grade students. Hope to see lots of great outfits!!!
